Been Too Long!

It has been way too long since I have blogged anything. Things have been pretty busy since Amy had her baby with spring break, Easter, school starting again, and sick kids. I feel like when I don't add something at least once every week or two, then I don't know where to start when I add to the blog the next time. Anyways, we stayed at my Mom's for a week after Amy had her baby to help with Amy's kids there and also so Eric could get more studying done for finals. We headed to Wenatchee for Easter and spring break. We had an easter egg hunt for the kids. Aubree loved putting eggs into her basket, but Tanner just wanted to run around. He'd pick an egg up, try to eat it/open it, throw it down and run to the next one.

Travis is getting so big. He is such a good baby. He is 4 months old now. The kids all have some upper respiratory virus that is going around. It stinks! Tanner started with it and it has lasted almost 10 days for him. They have a bad cough, throw up, really runny nose, are agitated, a fever, and nothing seems to make them happy. It is now hitting Travis and it is really sad. Hopefully with him breastfeeding, it won't hit him as bad. It is too hard with sick kids. It makes me appreciate them when they are healthy.

Erics' Mom made "dirt" pudding cups for the kids and Tanner loved it and loves to make messes. This picture actually reminds me of a story I wanted to tell of Tanner. While we were at my parent's house helping with Amy's kids we were all in the basement. Eric and I were the only people home with the 6 kids. All the doors had been shut so that I could breastfeed Trav without Tanner getting into things. Claire (Amy's 3 year old daughter) had an accident and wet her pants, but was in the bathroom "finishing" while she waited for Eric. While Eric ran upstairs to get her new clothes to wear, Claire came out of the bathroom to watch TV. A minute later, Tanner comes into the room I was in, with something in his hand that looked like a rock and he it looked like he was trying to eat it. I started yelling for Eric to hurry and he runs down the stairs and has to pry Claire's poop out of Tanner's hand. It took a lot of hand washing to get that smell off of Tanner's hand. We don't think he actually ate any of it. Kind of sick.

That picture of Tanner covered in chocolate is AWESOME!!!! It looks like he really enjoyed it! I love the story about the poo too. I think every child has had an experience like that or similar, so no worries! HA. Travis is such a cute big boy! I can't believe I haven't met him yet! We will have to change that!

I'm still grossed out with Tanner's new dietary addition! What an adventurous little boy!!! I guess you know that no matter what you make for dinner- he'll eat it! It can't be worse than what he finds in the toilet

I can't believe Travis is already 4 months old...time flies! You and Eric are super parents to take on your sisters kids too! Amazing! Sounds like you've had fun and have been busy!
