Aubs meets Trav

This is when Aubree and Tanner first came to the hospital after Travis was born. Tanner had a runny nose, so we kept him away. Aubree was so sweet with Travis. I apologize for my leg hanging there. I was so hot.

Travis Eric Nygard

Sorry it has taken me a little while to get anything out and let everyone know what is going on. Today is my due date and I'm so glad I already had Travis. I plan on putting a lot of pictures up and some video up too with more information once life slows down a little bit. Eric just finished finals yesterday and I've been trying to figure out the whole breast feeding thing.
Travis Eric Nygard was born Saturday, December 8th and 10:49pm. He weighed 6lbs 14oz and was 20 inches long. He has brown wavy hair just like Aubs and Tan did :). My water broke while I was shopping at Wal-Mart, but I thought his head had dropped and made me pee my pants. I didn't go into the hospital till almost 3pm on Saturday. I really didn't think it could've been my water since my mom and sisters all had to have their water broken at the hospital. I was at a 4 when I got to the hospital. They had me walk for an hour and then they admitted me and hooked me up to an IV with Pitocin. The Dr. said I could have the epidural whenever I wanted, so I got it at 6cm. Labor wasn't too bad for me. Anyways, I progressed to a 10 in a couple hours. That part wasn't that fun and I couldn't even feel most of it. I took me a little less that 30 minutes to push. Travis kept grunting for the first few hours but he is totally healthy. Aubree and Tanner met Travis after church the next day. Aubree was so cute with him and Tanner just looked at him, said baby, and then wanted to get down and get into things. The nurse gave them apple juice and a cupcake to celebrate. We are doing good. We love and appreciate all our friends and family.

It's December!

I am so excited for it to be December. I feel so ready to have a baby, but at the same time I am a little overwhelmed thinking about 3 kids under two-years-old. I will have to invest in a leash, use my Baby Bjorn, and use a stroller. It has been super cold out, so we haven't been able to get out much, which makes the days take forever. Hopefully, I will be updating soon with pics and news of a new baby. I am so close, yet so far.

We were putting up Christmas stuff in our apartment and Tanner got himself all wound up in some lights.
Eric took Aubree swimming and when they got home they ate Hot Chocolate together. Aubree sure loves her Dad.

I love our kids!

I haven't updated our blog in a little while and I wanted to just put up a few pictures and a little update of what has been going on.
Last Friday Tanner started getting super big bruises from his normal, routine falls. The knots and bruises were way bigger and darker than we've ever seen. We took him to the Sacred Heart Children's ER and he had super low platelets. Normal platelets is up above 200,000, and Tanner came in with between 2,000 and 3,000. He could've gotten hurt a lot worse (like internal bleeding). Tanner stayed for 3 days in the children's hospital while they gave him a few treatments. Eric was so nice and stayed all of the nights at the hospital. I am getting a little too uncomfortable to sleep too well in other beds. He responded super good and his platelets are up past 600,000 now. He is such a sweet boy!
Aubree did not like having our family apart and got so excited everytime she got to go see Tanner.
Here is a picture of Aubs coloring. She is pretty intense about coloring. She could color for hours if we sat there next to her and colored with her.

Aubree's Many Costumes

I had a dog costume that I had from last year and even bought face paint to go with it, but I could never find it. So I ended up putting Aubs in a few different costumes for different halloween activities.

For the ward halloween activity, a lion,

For Tanner's birthday party, Pocahontas.

For fun, Ariel (she helped cover some cookies with chocolate).

For my parent's trunk or treat, a duck/chick (we weren't sure).

Tanner's Party!

We celebrated Tanner's 1st birthday last week and he loved his cake.

This is how his cake ended up (no more frosting). His hands were completely covered in frosting and cake. He could barely use his fingers.

It didn't take him very long to completely destroy his cake. I love in this picture how he is licking his finger.

After a bath, Tanner "opened" his presents.

Eric's 2 year mark!

Two years ago today Eric was first diagnosed with cancer. Looking back on the last two years has made me emotional. We have packed a little bit of stuff into two short years. Eric is healthy now and doing good. We have two of the cutest and nicest kids we could've ever asked for. We have been blessed with a miracle of expecting a little boy, that many doctors told us we'd never have. I can't believe how blessed I am to have Eric in my life. He is the best person that I know. It will be exciting to see what every year will bring us. We have been so blessed!

We have a new niece!

Sorry, hopefully the pics worked this time.

Just wanted to update those who know my sister, Jackie. Jackie and Nolan King had a little girl born October 11th. Her name is Adalee Ellen and she weighed 7lbs 12oz. Jackie is a tough girl. She is going to be an awesome Mom! Congrats!!!

Aubree Doesn't Get Out Much.

Aubree loves her jumping zebra. This is after she's been jumping for a while. My sisters, Mary and Leslie, are the ones making all the noise in the background.

Tanner Walking

My sister, Sara wanted to see Tanner walking. Pretty soon he is going to outrun Aubs. He does fall down a lot, but is getting better.

Crazy!

Tanner and Aubs kept rubbing their faces along the side of the pack 'n play. They are so funny!

Preg pics!

We just gave Tanner his 6th haircut and he's not even a year old yet. He is such a nice boy!

I have listened to your requests and even though I think I look sick, I have posted some pregnant pictures. I am 31 weeks tomorrow and feeling huge.

Here is Aubree with her fairy wings giving my tummy a kiss. She is so excited for a new baby. She says "baby" all of the time and changes her dolls diapers. She get the Desitin, wipes, diapers, and lay her dolls out so she can change them. She is a little mom already.

Aubree has started to hide when she goes #2 and here she is in the closet, hiding behind Eric's clothes.

We took Tanners' binky's away a few months ago, but he found an old one of Aubree's. He likes to suck on it upside down too.

Tanner and Aubree both with their "cheese" faces for the camera. Everytime I get the camera out, Aubree says "cheese."

Aubree has been talking so much about the temple, that we went there for family night. The kids loved the temple and the Angel Moroni all lit up.
