Happy Birthdays!

Eric and I celebrated our birthday's on the 23rd and 24th. The kids think it is pretty cool that we have our birthday's a day apart. They loved helping to blow out the candles.
Eric's mom came over and brought over some fresh picked raspberries.

Love Aubree's chocolate shake fu man chu.
Handsome Tan. When we were at the grocery store today, Tanner was acting out and making Aubree mad. As we were climbing into the van she said, "Mom, I think we should sell him!" She has been around too many garage sales.
LOVE Tanner's smile and laugh!
Lately Aubree has been asking me to take pictures of her. She is such a doll.

Trav is such a funny boy. He is easily teased. Tanner knows every little thing to do to make Trav scream. He'll just say, "Trav" and Travis will scream. Tanner thinks it is hilarious.
School is going really well for Eric. He is a awesome! I love it when he wears his scrubs. We don't get to see him very often, but it is life.
I took some pictures of my sister Amy's kids. This one was my favorite.

Future Eric Nygard DDS

This last Monday, Eric officially started dental school. He is going to the University of Washington, but 8 students get to do their first year at the Riverpoint Campus in Spokane. It is nice to be close to family for this first year. They did a stethescope and hand/mirrow piece presentation to all of the RIDE and WWAMMI (medical) students.

The picture above is the morning before Eric started. I can't believe how blessed we are. I started crying before Eric left thinking about how long he has worked and what has happened with our life since he first applied. Our lives have changed a little. I am glad Heavenly Father knows where we need to be and when we need to be there.

Tanner got into Vaseline. He told me he looked handsome until it started getting in his eyes.

Long Week!

This week has been one of those weeks. On Monday night I backed into Eric's Dad's truck. I had never been in an accident. We headed to Spokane on Tuesday to get all of our stuff unpacked and moved in to our new house and I came down with the flu and felt sick and achey for 3 days. We did get our stuff all moved in and we are excited to be living in Spokane. Eric gave me all day on Friday to do whatever I wanted all by myself. It was fun to take my time to shop and get errands done, but I didn't know what to do with free hands at time. It got kind of boring. The kids have so much fun with their dad, I don't think they missed me at all. They are going to have a hard time not seeing their dad as much. Eric and I did our first triathlon today. It was a lot of fun, but the whole time I was doing it I was wondering why I was doing it. We borrowed Eric's brother's bike for me to use and this morning after Eric replaced the tube we realized it didn't shift, so I would have to ride the 10 miles in the same gear. It wasn't too bad. The worst part was that I forgot to borrow a helmet and this morning I realized that the only helmet we had was Aubree's. I looked ridiculous. I had to stretch the straps all the way and it sat crooked on my head. I wish we got a picture of it. We are excited to do another one.
Not the most flattering outfit that I wore.

Travis (above) and Tanner (below) at our new house.

Tanner learned the hard way not to ride his bike naked.
Love their eyes!
Travis jumped in the pool Sunday after church before we realized there was still water in the pool.
Tanner asks his grandma for lotion massages a couple times a day. It is really cute.
