Loads of Pictures!

Eric is going to be starting school in two months, so we are trying to take advantage of having him around. We decided to take the kids camping. They loved it. Tanner ended up being covered with dirt.
As soon as Eric got the tent up, Aubree asked if she could go to bed. The kids played in the tent forever. When it was finally time for them to go to sleep Aubree decided it was too dark and she didn't want to go to sleep. She kept asking if it was morning yet. It is fun to all be snuggled in a tent, but none of us slept very good. Tanner kept waking up saying he was stuck. I don't know what he was stuck in.
Travis loved his little camping chair. His smile makes me melt.
Man, he's cute! Love him! Eric is so wonderful! I don't have enough pictures of him on here.
Tanner roasting his hotdogs. I think there are even less pictures of me.
Tanner came upstairs at my parents house covered in lotion.
There's a water park behind my parent's house and the kids love it.
Love this picture of Aubs and Tan under the water bucket. It is cold water. They are a lot braver than I would be.

Eric's little brother Blake had his "farewell" this last Sunday and goes into the MTC on Wednesday. He will be serving in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Blake is going to be such an awesome missionary. We will miss him a lot. Aubree will especially miss his body slams.
Aubree and Tanner with their cousin Maycie before church in Wenatchee.
Beautiful Aubs. Whenever she wants me take pictures of her, she always does a face like this. She is so cute and growing up too fast.
Handsome Tan.

Model Trav. I wish it was in better focus.Eric's little brother, Brian, running at HS regionals.

Backpack

I found Tanner this backpack at a garage sale. He thinks it is pretty cool.
Travis was too quiet for a few minutes and this is how we found him.
I took some pictures of the boys before church and I wasn't able to get any cute ones of Trav cause he was so worried about his shoes. I love the ones of Tanner. He is SO cute!

Aubree with her "best friends" and cousins, Leah and Claire.

I found Aubs a witch costume and she has worn it since. Tanner wanted to be a witch too, so I put her tights on as his scarf.
We are doing good. Eric is done coaching the hurdlers at EWU and is getting ready to start dental school in less than 2 months. We are excited to move on with life. We will be moving from Cheney to Spokane at the end of June, and we look forward to being closer to family and close to the Riverpoint Campus.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to my mom. I wish I had a picture of her to go with this post, but we are out of town and I only have pics of our kids. My mom is a special lady. She is one of the hardest working ladies I have ever met. She has packed up and moved us twice in six months. She is so giving and helpful. Our kids (especially Tanner) love her so much. Thank you Mom for all you do for us.

I also want to wish Eric's mom a Happy Mother's Day. She is amazing. She is the best cook and seamstress I have ever met. I wish I could learn all of her homemaking skills. I'm grateful she raised such a wonderful son.

I am also so grateful for "our" birth moms. We love and appreciate them so much. We are so grateful to them for blessing us with being parents.

Happy Mother's Day to all you mom's out there. You are great examples to me.

ps. On Monday, we got offically approved for adoption. They have our profile up on the it's about love site and we also have our own adoption blog. The link is also on the right side of this blog, if you click our family picture. If anybody wants to link a picture of us from their blog to adoption blog, let me know. We are excited to be able to be approved again. We are so grateful for adoption.

If you got it, flaunt it.

It rained a ton one day last week and we let the kids have fun with Aubs rain boots.

Trav loves shoes. He is always brings me shoes and says, "shoes, shoes" over and over. He especially loves Aubs boots.

I'm so grateful to be a mom and to have the opportunity to be these kids mom. They are the best!

On a Date

Eric and Aubree go on a "date" almost every other week, so this last week it was our turn to clean the church building and Eric used that as his date with Aubree. Eric was on his way home from work and Aubree hurried to get ready for her date. The picture above is how she dressed herself. She also had these weird, tall brown socks and her special Sunday shoes on. She is so cute! I love how she clipped bows onto the straps of her dress.
Travis is growing up too fast. It is so sad. He is almost 17 months and such a sweet boy. He is starting to talk a lot and wishes he could get around as fast as his brother and sister.

Tanner loves all bugs. He can spend hours outside looking for ants. It is really cute. He likes most bugs, but for some reason flies scare him.
