I love our kids!

I haven't updated our blog in a little while and I wanted to just put up a few pictures and a little update of what has been going on.
Last Friday Tanner started getting super big bruises from his normal, routine falls. The knots and bruises were way bigger and darker than we've ever seen. We took him to the Sacred Heart Children's ER and he had super low platelets. Normal platelets is up above 200,000, and Tanner came in with between 2,000 and 3,000. He could've gotten hurt a lot worse (like internal bleeding). Tanner stayed for 3 days in the children's hospital while they gave him a few treatments. Eric was so nice and stayed all of the nights at the hospital. I am getting a little too uncomfortable to sleep too well in other beds. He responded super good and his platelets are up past 600,000 now. He is such a sweet boy!
Aubree did not like having our family apart and got so excited everytime she got to go see Tanner.
Here is a picture of Aubs coloring. She is pretty intense about coloring. She could color for hours if we sat there next to her and colored with her.

Aubree's Many Costumes

I had a dog costume that I had from last year and even bought face paint to go with it, but I could never find it. So I ended up putting Aubs in a few different costumes for different halloween activities.

For the ward halloween activity, a lion,

For Tanner's birthday party, Pocahontas.

For fun, Ariel (she helped cover some cookies with chocolate).

For my parent's trunk or treat, a duck/chick (we weren't sure).

Tanner's Party!

We celebrated Tanner's 1st birthday last week and he loved his cake.

This is how his cake ended up (no more frosting). His hands were completely covered in frosting and cake. He could barely use his fingers.

It didn't take him very long to completely destroy his cake. I love in this picture how he is licking his finger.

After a bath, Tanner "opened" his presents.
